Devastating news. The Germans are leaving. It seems like they have always been here, and I cannot bear them leaving. Who will I argue with? Who can I discuss politics, fashion and art with now?! And who will put a smile on my face and listen when I'm feeling sad? Oh dear. However we are going to visit Clara and Daniela in Frankfurt this summer It is very exciting. Only three full days left until we leave for New York Excited but sad If only it could be further away, so that Daniela, Clara, Natalie and Chloe would stay and exams would be far away.

The Clash (1981, NYC) - The Clash took over Bond's (a former clothing store turned nightclub) in Times Square for an entire week in June, with different opening acts every night.. I went five of those seven nights and saw everyone from the Slits to ....oh gosh, everyone - open for them. Because I was shooting them for the cover of Sounds, I was granted plenty of access. We shot this on the rooftop.

The Virgins

I'm ordering their 07 EP Argh! Just been browsing their Myspace and they're playing Bournemouth on the 9th with Pigeon Detectives! I think I must go! Don't know who with. Maybe alone I was thinking about going to see them if they were on in New York when we go That would be an adventure! Wondering the streets of New York at night searching for some club in some back alley Anyway Yes I'm ordering their EP I finally have money and have remembered! Their r4eleased version of Rich Girls is no where near as good as the original on the EP. I heard it when Mark Ronson was on Zane Lowe's shows a year or 2 ago. I think they must be getting quite famous now. But yeah Radio Christiane Rich Girls

New York! New York!

So I'm back at Sixth Form AND we're going to New York! There's a trip with the art department to New York and San Francisco in the Easter and I cannot wait! I'm already checking out the vintage shops! If anyone can suggest any great places to visit, please do! Thee are always those classic shots of the highrise buildings but i really want to see the people and the streets. And the graffiti Cannot wait! Did I already say that? :D
