China White

Whether graphically modern or wildly romantic, this season's white is as delicate and ravishing as willow-pattern porcelain. Handle with care.

This month's Vogue is yet another heart-melting edition! It includes 2 Tim Walker photo shoots, one being portraits of some of my favourite designer, 2 Mario Testino's shoots on British style and a Norman Parkinson article. It's a shame I cannot appreciate it until I finish my art essay on the Pre-Raphaelites. It's due tomorrow.

April Showers and Summer Rain

I am longing for a summer in the forest Paddling in the streams Spinning and spinning gazing up at the lush treetops Sunbathing amongst the clovers and daisies

Fragonard

After seeing some of his paintings at the National Gallery I had to post this. I had never been overly fussed by his work and prefered Boucher. But I think I'm in love Particularly with 'The Stolen Kiss' My art teacher said he would take me to the Frick Collection when we go to New York! So excited!

Books

I have actually started reading books, or atleast buying them. Ands even then they're more like picture books. But I am reading Pride and Prejudice which is brilliant and I 've almost finished! I recently bough Cheap Dates Guide to Style which is ok but doesn't include many tips for customising ect. Does anyone know of a book that does? I also bought The Mighty Book of Boosh which is hilarious and has some brilliant pictures. But the books on my wishlist are The Clash which has just been released, with contributions from all of them, and from a quick flick through there are some amazing pictures too! I am also hoping for Tim Walker Pictures

Tim Walker Exhibition 22.9.08

Tim Walker Exhibition at the Design Museum London The scrapbooks (and photos obviously!) were amazing to see and gave you insight into how he forms his ideas. I am definitely going to start sticking down all those bits of paper I appear to have collected! If only life was really like his pictures....
