I was reading Anne Frank late last night, when she is talking about nature and how she longs to be close to it again and this post made me think of it :P
I also watched the BBC dramatization as you mentioned earlier and I too was crying, it was pretty horrific what happened. It provoked me to read her diary again and a lot of what she wrote about Peter is making scarily perfect sense to me.
I love your notebooks filled with old movie stars, I would kill for that kind of movie star memoribillia, you're so lucky :D
