My New Lula!

After standing in the freezing cold on the beach for Cindy's photography project, we retire to the warm shelter of Borders and Starbucks. After standing with our hands under the driers for 10 minutes we went up to get a drink. And along the way I spotted the Brand New Lula! My heart skipped a beat! I'm saving it for after I've done my homework. It's sat in front of me right now. And I'm trying not to give into temptation. Yesterday I watched episodes 5 and 6 of Skins, which I'd missed whilst in Edinburgh I love to read Edward Gibbon's blog, who is the costume designer on Skins. Its a great insight into how he chooses the outfits and how they link to the characters lives, and also ideas on how to play with your own style. I love Freddie's 'Dreamer' T-shirt. My heart melted when he swam to Effy. 'The wishy washy slightly tie dyed t- shirt from American Apparel suits this romantic dreamer down to the ground, with its calming clouds wafting across his chest.' But the clothes in Naomi's episode were my favourites. It seems she can pull any outfit off, as well as making a statement along the way. I squealed to see her Vivienne Westwood 'Leonard Peltier is Innocent' T-shirt, and then turned green with envy And those leggings! Where can I get a pair? I thought American Apparel with their Afrika print It was also a delight to see Bob Fossil as a Sexx Bomb judge. Classic. If I had read closer before I would know the leggings are by Marjan Pejoski. 'My favourite item she wears in episode six is her wildly patterned Marjan Pejoski leggings. The print is amazing and kind of looks like something an Aztec warrior would wear. Her ‘oh so slightly worthy’ dungarees are given a twist by finishing just below her bum and the leggings are the perfect foil to any lecherous teachers with wandering eyes. ' And Cook's outfit screamed The Clash 'Cook’s election outfit is a perfect blend of revolutionary South American and Joe Strummer of the Clash/Westwood Seditionaries'

Hi! I'm Pandora Moon. I'm 17 and super duper excited about writing my first internet blog. MY MOTTO: (`'`'~-.._..*5[^^]!L£*.._..-~`'`') I asked all my friends what to write, well, I asked Eff, because she is my best (and only) friend. She said I should describe the way I would kill a baby rabbit. I think she was joking. At least I hope so! You know, I really like Eff but sometimes she's just a bit scary! Instead I thought I’d tell you about my most favourite animal and why I love it so much. I absolutely love Caterpillars. I think they are definitely the most interesting sort of animal, insect, whatever. As a child my favourite book was 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' I'm sure you've read it. It's absolutely fascinating. However, when the teacher used to read it to me at nursery I always used to cry when the Caterpillar became a Butterfly, which was odd because all the other children used to cheer. I just couldn't understand it. The poor Caterpillar didn't know that by eating all that food he was forcing himself to grow into a butterfly. What if he was just hungry, but didn't want wings and didn't want to fly. One day I got so scared that I'd become a Butterfly that I didn't eat any breakfast, but then my mum explained that children weren't like Caterpillars and the only thing that would happen if we ate lots is that we'd get bigger. So after that I ate all my porridge. I really like Caterpillars and I don't think it's fair and that they are forced to become different animals when they might be perfectly happy being what they already are. Everyone says that Butterflies are way prettier than Caterpillars but I disagree. Yes, Butterflies have pretty coloured wings, but Caterpillars also have really incredible, detailed patterns on their skin. More about meeeee...... FAVOURITE BANDS: Hair bands because I always wear my hair in bunchies, it's totally my signature look. Although I do love making rubber band balls! T.V SHOWS: I love Jeremy Kyle. I also love Trisha. DREAM DATE: My mum says boys are bad and has banned me from having a boyfriend. Eff said mum's right and having a boyfriend is a waste of time. She said having a buddy is much more time and pleasure efficient. I'm not sure what she means but a buddy sounds like fun. FAVOURITE WEBSITES: ...www.pimpmysearch.com. It keeps me amused for hours! www.whatsthiscaterpillar.co.uk And obviously www.youtube.com. I love the Harry Potter Puppets. What's that mysterious ticking noise? New York! New York!

So I'm back at Sixth Form AND we're going to New York! There's a trip with the art department to New York and San Francisco in the Easter and I cannot wait! I'm already checking out the vintage shops! If anyone can suggest any great places to visit, please do! Thee are always those classic shots of the highrise buildings but i really want to see the people and the streets. And the graffiti Cannot wait! Did I already say that? :D

Cassie's Skirt

I know Skins finished ages ago butI'm still getting withdrawal symptoms

and with the summer approaching and end of exams! (:D) I can now start planning stuff to do in the summer!

sadly none of my friend were allowed or wanted to go on holiday or go to any festivals so i dont think ill be going away

but ive been desperate for this skirt cassie wore in the first series of skins the moment i saw it

its from a japanese label sold in camden but i doubt they have one anymore

so im going to make my own!

(hopefully!)

out of this cool tree fabric i found (not as wierd as it sounds)

and make a pencil skirt from it


but if anyone knows if the stall in camden is still selling them please tell me!


i just love cassies style and it was always exciting to see what she'd be wearing every episode!
